2011 NEWS!!
Amahte had a very successful show season in 2011 having the #2 (Armani), #3 (Tanji) and #4 (Fendi) Ibizans in Canada with all 3 showing on a
very limited basis and 2 of which were puppies! Armani now holds the record for BPIS wins for an Ibizan in Canada! He also was #3 Hound
Puppy In Canada!
Dec 2-4/11 - To end the year Fendi wins BOB on the Friday show, makes the cut in a strong year end hound group and wins another
BPIG--Thank you to judge Janet Lobb!!
Armani shown the next 2 days wins BOB both days, Group 3 & BPIG on the Saturday and then on the last day of the show and his last day in the
ring as a puppy he wins Group 1st, BPIG and Best Puppy In Show! What a great way to end a puppy career! Thank you so much to judges
Garry Allen and Joe Lobb!
Nov 18-20/11 - At the Brandon, MB shows Armani has another successful weekend winning a Group 1st, Group 2nd and another Best Puppy In
Show! Thank you so much to judges Neil Graves and Bud Haverstock!
Nov 4-6 - At the Red Deer shows Armani wins BOB all 3 days, Group 1st, Group 4, two BPIG and two BEST PUPPY IN SHOWS!! Armani now
holds the record for most BPIS wins for an Ibizan Hound in Canada!

Oct 21-23/11 - Fendi wins 2 BPIG at the Camrose shows!! The first day, Havoc wins BOW and finishes his Canadian Championship!!
Sept 25/11 - The the IHCUS supported entry Fendi wins her Bred-By class as does Armani and he goes on to win BOW for his 2nd 4-point US
Major!!
Sept 22/11 - Armani wins Winners Dog & Best Bred-By in Show at the IHCUS National Specialty in St.Louis, MO!!
Sept 16-18/11 - After many many months of semi-retirement, Tanji comes to play at one show and wins Group 1st at the Balgonie show! Thank
you to judge Doug Gaudin & handler Kim Cowie! The next day Fendi is shown and she wins a Group 4!! Thank you judge Larry Kereluke!
Aug 19-21/11 - Fendi at the Yorkton Show and won 6 BOB, 4 Best Puppy In Groups, a Group 2, a Group 3 and two Group 4's!! Dad Mirar also
had a great show finishing his Canadian Championship--He now will go back home to the states as Am/Can Ch.Mystickal El Unicor De Mirar!!
July 29 to Aug 1/11 - Fendi wins BOB and Best Puppy In Specialty at the ASHA Specialty show at the AKC show (Canada's Largest Outdoor
Dog Show). At the All-Breed Shows Armani wins BOB all 3 shows and Best Puppy In Group! Thank you to judge Richardo Saldana and
Armani's handler Milton Lopes!
July 23-24/11 - We made the long trek out to the Thunder Bay, Ontario shows where Armani wins Group 1st, BPIG and BEST PUPPY IN
SHOW!! Thank you to sighthound specialist Jan Buchanan for these wonderful wins!! The next day Armani wins Group 4 under Brian Taylor!!
Not to be totally outdone by her brother, Fendi (first day out as a special) wins Group 1st and BPIG!! Big Thank you to judge Melvin Beech!!
And the next day Fendi wins Group 3 under Joan Beech!! Great weekend all around!!
July 15-17/11 - At the big outdoor Evelyn Kenney dog show, Armani wins BOB all 3 days, but not only that he wins BPIG under hound specialist
judge Jocelyne Gagne and went on to win BEST PUPPY IN SHOW under hound specialist judge Dr.John Reeve-Newson!! The next day
Armani wins a huge Group 1st and BPIG, also under judge Dr.John Reeve-Newson!! Thank you to professional handler Milton Lopes for the
beautiful presentation of this young exciting dog!!
July 1-3/11 - The Portage All-breed show in conjunction with the IHCC National was a success for the Amahte babies!! From the classes Fendi
wins BOB over specials, BPIG and then wins BEST PUPPY IN SHOW!! Thank You to Judge Janet Lobb! The next day, as a move up special,
Armani wins the breed and GROUP 1st & BPIG!! Thank you to finnish Judge Johan Juslin!
July 1/11 - Ibizan Hound of Canada National Specialty--At just 6.5 months old, Armani wins Best Opposite over specials, WD, BOW and Best
Puppy In Specialty Show to finish his Canadian Championship!! Fendi wins Winners Bitch (granted only bitch entry, but still fun!), Mirar is
Reserve Winners dog and Ms.Tanji wins Best Bred By Exhibitor and Best Canadian Bred!! Big Thank you to National judge Mrs. Sandy
Alexander!!
June 18-19/11 - The puppies had their debut at the Kenora show!! Armani had a great weekend winning 3 BOB a Group 3 and a Group 4 for
a total of 8 points!! BIG Thank you to judges Pamela Bruce and Pat Lanctot!! Fendi did well too winning 2 BOB for 2 points!! Dad Mirar picked
up a BOB for 2 more pts!! And LV had a lot of fun and showed great! His time will come!!
June - Faith completes her Junior Courser title and with that is now a new GRAND CHAMPION!! She is now Grand Ch.Amahte's Stand by me,
JC!! Big thank you and congratulations to her owners Ron and Rose Young!!
