2010 NEWS!!
***2010 Year End***
Tanji finishes #1 Ibizan Hound in Canada (for the second consecutive year) and also #8 Hound in Canada!
--Tanji had a great 2010 breaking a few records! First of all, in September, Tanji broke the record for Group 1st won in a single year by an
Ibizan (a record held by her full sister Dior).
--Tanji also is the only Ibizan in Canada's history to have a Top Ten Hound Group finish at year end!
--And Tanji is the only Ibizan to win an All-Breed Best In Show in North America in 2010!!
Big thank-you to Tanji's handler Kim Cowie for guiding Tanji to some amazing wins this year and to all the judges who have recognized this very
correct Ibizan hound bitch!
Nov 26-28/10 - Tanji has a great showing in Calgary with her handler Kim Cowie!! They win Group 1st, 2nd and 3rd in a nice strong year-end
hound group! Thank you to judges Jack Ireland, Virginia Lyne and Heidi Gervais!!
Nov 19-21/10 - The first day of the Wheat City show Nike goes BOB for 2 pts towards her Canadian Championship--Thank You Star White!!
The next 2 days Tanji wins BOB and Group 1st and 3rd!! Big Thank-You to judge Morley Thornton and Donna Cole!
Oct 24/10 - Tanji wins Group 3 in Camrose, AB! Thank you again to judge Chris Neilson!
Oct 10/10 - Tanji wins Group 3 in Oakbank, MB! Thank you judge Chris Neilson!
Sept 24-26/10 - Tanji heads off to Lloydminster, SK show with her handler Kim Cowie and has an amazing weekend!!
Tanji wins BEST IN SHOW!! Big big Thank you to judge Doug Gaudin for this honor!! Over the weekend Tanji wins 3 more Group 1st, 2
Group 2 and a Group 4! Thank you judges Doug and Avery Gaudin and Mel Saranchuk for the Group 1st wins, Richard Lopaschuk and
Melvin Beech for the Group 2 wins and Wayne Thompson for the Group 4!!
Sept 17-19/10 - Tanji is shown at the PCA show in Balgonie, SK and has an excellent weekend winning 2 more Group 1st which breaks the
record for Group 1st won in a single year by an Ibizan (record held by her sister Dior), plus 3 Group 3 and a Group 4....and a
Reserve BEST IN SHOW!! Big Thank you to judge Neil Graves & Robert Verhulst for the Group 1st wins, Sheila Verhulst, Janet Lobb and
John and Denise Clark!
Sept 3 & 5/10 - Tanji showed only 2 days of the Saskatoon show and won 2 Group 3!! Thank you judges Kathleen Anderson Wulff and Starr
White!
Aug 20-22/10 - Tanji does great at the Yorkton shows winning 2 more Group 1st!! She also won Group 3 and Group 4! Thank you to
judges Tom Alexander, Denise Cornellsen, Linda Kraft and Rick Fehler!
Aug 14-15/10 - Rave certified for Lure Coursing!! He ran in Open stake all weekend and did quite well! Dior tried her hand, but
needs more time! I look forward to continue to course my hounds!!
