**2006 has been a good year for Amahte! Some of the Boxing Day babies made thier show debuts! Dior finished #1 Ibizan Hound in
Canada & Tanji is half-way to her Championship! Faith is a Champion and also is a BISS winner! Eh is major pointed and almost done his
US Championship! Hunter is major pointed and group winning! Thank you to the many puppy owners for working so hard all year with these
pups!!
Not only have the babies done well in thier puppy careers, but Niles was also group winning and multi-group winning this past year---he was
shown very little but may finish #2 Ibizan for 2006!
Keilan & Draedon also did very well again in the Junior Handling and should again be invited to the Provincial finals!!
We are looking forward to 2007 and the many shows we have planned!

Nov 11-12/06 - Niles wins BOB and Dior wins Best Puppy In Group under judge Barb Beland. The next day Dior wins another Best Puppy In
Group under judge Val Hansen!!
Nov 5/06 - "Hunter"...Amahte's Corsair owned and shown by Gayle Beckhart won GROUP 1 from the Sr.Puppy class at the Cook Inlet show in
Alaska!! Big Thank-You to judge Dorothy Nickles!! This is great news considering Hunter was the only Ibizan entered and this was for a major!
This was also only Hunter's 3rd time in the ring!!!

Aug 10-13 - What an amazing weekend!! Amahte now has its very first BISS winner...Amahte's Stand By Me or better known as "Faith". Faith is
owned by Ron and Rose Young of Calgary and myself. Faith won the specialty from the 6-9 month class at 7 1/2 mths old!! Faith also was
BPISS and Best Canadian Bred!!
"Niles" was BOS and "She" was Best Veteran!! "Dior" won the Specialties sweepstakes!!!

June 9 - Tanji beats out her sister Dior for breed and goes on to win Group 1 and Reserve Best In Match at the Sanctioned Match!!
May 28 - Niles wins Group 4 at the Band City Kennel Club show under David Marcus. Niles was expertly handled by my son Keilan who is 12
yrs old!!!
May 11 - Dior goes to Mid-Canada Dog Show in Winnipeg, Manitoba with handler Penny Lewis and wins Group 1 at the sanctioned match!!
May 6 - The Saskatchewan Junior Handling Provincial Finals for 2005 were held today. Keilan won the High Aggregate for the province. His
main show dog last year was Niles. In the finals Keilan was Reserve in the Jr. Novice class and Draedon was 3rd!!
In the All-Breed show, Niles won a Group 4 under Everett Mincey!!
